Triune God
We believe that God, as revealed in the Bible, is one God who is three divine persons (co-equal and co-eternal), God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.

Salvation
We believe that all men are born with a sin nature, and are guilty of sin before a Holy God. Every Human needs salvation from sin. Those who are not saved will suffer eternal separation from God in Hell. Salvation includes deliverance from sin and Hell and entrance to Heaven, as well as mental restoration, provision, health, healing, etc.

The Bible
We believe the Bible is the word of God. God has given it to us for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness. It is the determining, deciding factor in every aspect of life.

The New Birth
We believe that in order to be saved, one must confess Jesus as Lord and believe that God raised Him from the dead. At that point one is born again. At the new birth, man’s sin nature is replaced with the very nature of God. In this miracle, one receives new life from God, and is transformed in a moment from a child of darkness into a child of God. This change of nature results in a discernible conversion in every individual who experiences the new birth.

Receiving the Holy Spirit
We believe that at the moment of the new birth a person receives the Spirit of God. However, this is not the only encounter one can have with the Holy Spirit. We believe any Christian may be Baptized in the Holy Spirit as a separate, yet real, experience. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in tongues. We believe this manifestation of tongues is to be ongoing throughout the life of a Christian.

Water Baptism
We believe in water baptism by immersion following the new birth. Water baptism does not save. It is an outward demonstration of an inward change which has already occurred.

Sanctification
We believe God’s plan for every Christian is that they be conformed to the image of Christ. We believe that process starts at the new birth when, in our spirits, we are reconformed to the image of Christ through His life, His Spirit in us. Now our minds must be renewed by His word and His Spirit. And, our bodies must be brought under the control of His life in us so that we can accurately represent Jesus in the earth. Ultimately, at His return, Jesus will give us bodies like His own, completing the process of conforming us to His image.

Second Coming of Jesus
We believe that Jesus fulfilled all of the prophecies concerning His first coming, and will also fulfill all the prophecies concerning His second coming. There will be a pre-tribulation rapture of all who are born again and a seven year tribulation period, followed by a thousand year millennial reign of Christ on the earth.

Miracles of the Bible
We believe in all miracles of the Bible, including but not limited to: the Virgin Birth, healing, Creation, the Red Sea parting, manna in the desert, bodily resurrection of Christ, raising the dead, prophecy, God speaking, Jonah, Eiljah calling down fire, and the ten plagues of Egypt. Furthermore, we believe God’s miracles fully exist today!

Role of Christians
We believe that God has an eternal and a temporal plan for each of His children. A Christian’s first role is to worship and glorify God. This role begins at the new birth and will continue forever. In this life, each member of the body of Christ is to represent Jesus to the best of their ability, with continual growth. Once strengthened by God, we are to live a life above circumstances and sin. Each believer can and should lead others to Christ, cast out demons and heal the sick, live with wisdom, have peace and joy, and prosper. We believe many present day Christians are living far below the life God has provided for them. We believe this is due to a lack of knowledge and understanding of God’s word. Riches In Christ exists to enlighten God’s children to His wonderful power and love through His precious word.
